MASSAGE WITH ME
In Ayuveda our bodies are a reflection of the universe, a microcosm of a macrocosm. Our bodies are so intelligent. I believe that once we give the body the right conditions to thrive its healing capacities are astounding. Often the pace and pressure of our daily lives throw us out of balance and our body manifests this as physical and mental tension. As a remedial massage therapist, I am constantly learning about the body and I love how a therapeutic touch can unlock long-held or recently gained aches, pains and tension.
BIO:
In 2013 I trained at North London School of Sports Massage as a sports and remedial massage therapist. Since then I have spent many years working alongside physiotherapists in the Alps treating a range of different injuries and helping tight muscles relax after a hard day on the slopes. I’ve explored different modalities of massage and treatments including; Thai Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage, myofascial techniques and aromatherapy which are incorporated into treatments.
HOW I WORK
Every treatment is as unique as each person that walks into my studio. I use a range of different techniques to help relax, ease restrictions and bring more balance into the body. The treatments help address specific injuries, adjust postural problems, allow you to reconnect with your body and listen to its messages. Although I do work into muscular tension, I work by listening to your body and having a conversation rather than forcing anything. Each treatment includes aftercare advice to empower you with knowledge so that you can better understand your body, help prevent future injuries and stay balanced.

YOGA
I believe that the real gift of yoga is in attuning us to the everyday beauty that surrounds us. Yoga helps connect all the separate parts of ourselves and illuminates us from the inside so we feel better within our bodies and so we are open to the world around us. My teachings are playful, intuitive and inspired by mystical as well as modern science. They aim to help you explore joy whilst discovering a deep sense of calm. My classes support you in exploring what feels good for you and what is your most optimal alignment. Whilst yoga takes you on a journey to stillness one of the ways of getting there is through laughter and through a lighthearted approach we can enjoy this journey and come more comfortably into stillness. There is sacredness in the silly and yoga is not a performance, it is a discovery. It is about fully inhabiting your body, being present and letting go of the monkey mind. I am inspired by the natural world and by each and every person that comes to my class. Yoga is for every body and everybody is welcome.
